Our commitment

Apparat Gaming creates online casino games. We want the games we make to be enjoyed as entertainment, by adults, in a safe and fair environment.

Apparat is a business-to-business supplier. We do not operate a casino, we do not accept wagers, we hold no player funds, and we have no direct relationship with the people who play our games. Our games are supplied only to licensed operators, who hold the relationship with the player.

That distance does not reduce our responsibility. Most people who gamble do so safely, but gambling causes serious harm to some people, and that harm reaches beyond the individual to families, friends and communities. As the company that designs and builds the games, we have a part to play in reducing that harm, and we take it seriously.

What we do

  • We build games to be certified. Our random number generator and our games are independently tested and certified by accredited testing laboratories, including iTech Labs and Gaming Associates. Certificates are published at apparatgaming.com and are available to our partners on request.
  • We enforce regulatory play limits in the game server, not in the game. Where a regulator requires limits on stake, spin duration, autoplay or other game features, those limits are applied server-side per jurisdiction. They cannot be bypassed by the client, the operator or the player.
  • We design for clarity. Game rules, return-to-player information and the cost of play are presented clearly and consistently, so that players can understand what they are playing before they play it.
  • We supply licensed operators only. Before a new partner is activated we verify their licence against the relevant regulator’s public register, and we re-check licence status over the life of the relationship. We supply only into markets where our games are permitted, and we apply territorial restrictions at the game server.
  • We support our partners’ player-protection obligations. Operators are responsible for player protection tools such as deposit limits, time-outs, reality checks and self-exclusion. We build our games so that those tools work correctly with our content, and we support operators in meeting the technical requirements of their own regulators.
  • We keep our own house in order. Apparat is licensed and regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority and is subject to regular external and internal audit.
